Fund Investment Objective & Strategy
The fund seeks to increase the value of its assets over the medium term by investing primarily in companies which innovate and benefit from secular consumer growth trends. The fund has significant exposure to a single sector and is likely to be subject to a greater concentration risk and higher volatility than a more diversified investment. The management company may at its discretion pay dividends out of the capital of the fund. Payment of dividends out of capital amounts to a return or withdrawal of part of an investor’s original investment or from any capital gains attributable to that original investment. Any distributions involving payment of dividends out of the fund’s capital may result in an immediate reduction of the net asset value per share.Investors should not solely rely on this document to make any investment decision. Please refer to the Hong Kong offering document for further information (including the risk factors) about the fund.

Key Risks
Derivative Risk : When investing in over the counter or listed derivatives, the subfund aims to hedge and/or to leverage the yield of its position. The attention of the investor is drawn to the fact that leverage increases the volatility of the subfund. The use of derivatives involves material additional risks, such as counterparty risk, volatility risk, liquidity risk, leveraging risk and valuation risk. This may expose the subfund to significant losses. Emerging Market Risk : Investing in emerging markets is likely to be subject to a higher than average volatility than investing in more developed markets due to, among other factors, greater uncertainty, greater political, tax, economic, social, foreign exchange, liquidity and regulatory risks. Risk of Investing in China :Investing in China involves risks linked to restrictions imposed on foreign investors and counterparties, higher market volatility and the risk of lack of liquidity. In addition, there are greater political, tax, economic, foreign exchange, regulatory, accounting and reporting risks. Single Sector Risk : The subfund’s investments are concentrated in the sectors of durable consumer goods, leisure and media and in related or connected sectors. This may result in greater volatility than funds which comprise broadbased investments. Risk linked to Equity Market :Investments in equity include significant fluctuations in prices, negative information about the issuer or market. Moreover, these fluctuations are often amplified in the short term. The risk that one or more companies suffer a downturn or fail to grow can have a negative impact on the performance of the overall portfolio at a given time. There is no guarantee that investors will see an appreciation in value. Liquidity Risk : This risk arises from the difficulty of selling an asset at a fair market price and at a desired time due to lack of buyers. Currency Risk : The subfund may hold assets denominated in currencies that differ from its reference currency, and may be affected by exchange rate fluctuations between the reference currency and the other currencies and by changes in exchange rate controls. When the manager is willing to hedge the currency exchange risk of a transaction, there is no guarantee that such operation will be completely effective. Operational & Custody Risk : Some markets are less regulated than most of the international markets; hence, the services related to custody and liquidation for the subfund on such markets could be more risky. Investment Risk : When investing in a fund, there is a risk that the final outcome may deviate from the initial expectations. The subfund’s investment portfolio may fall in value and therefore may suffer losses. In addition, there is no guarantee of principal repayment.
