NEW WORLD DEV (00017.HK) announced that the Company is aware that there have been market rumors and speculations in relation to the Group’s operations as well as its financial indebtedness. The Company reiterated that the Company continues to carry out its businesses as usual and continues to engage with its stakeholders, including its lenders and holders of debt securities. The Group has been proactively managing its financial indebtedness. Since July 2024 up to date, the Group has successfully refinanced approximately HK$17.761 billion of its bank loans. The Company has continued to comply with its existing financial indebtedness. Besides, the company reminded that shareholders, holders of other securities and potential investors are advised not to rely on market rumors in relation to the Group.
