The selling prices of newly built commercial housings in first-tier cities fell by 2.8% YoY in March, with the decline rate narrowing by 0.2 ppts from the previous month, according to data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Of which, that in Shanghai saw a 5.7% increase, while Beijing/ Guangzhou/ Shenzhen saw declines of 5.7%/ 7.2%/ 3.9% each. The selling prices of second-hand homes in first-tier cities dropped by 4.1% YoY, a 0.8 ppts narrower decline, with Beijing/ Shanghai/ Guangzhou/ Shenzhen recording decreases of 2.1%/ 1.4%/ 8.7%/ 4.1% respectively.
