Imports of Chinese goods now face tariffs of up to 245% as a result of China's retaliatory tariffs on imported US goods, the White House issued a statement at noon Hong Kong time today (16th) saying.

The US announced reciprocal tariff measures on 2 April, but later announced a 90-day moratorium on over 70 countries or regions. The White House added that more than 75 countries have approached the US for new trade deals.
