Some of Asia's wealthiest families, believing that US President Donald Trump's tariff policies have made it more difficult to forecast the US economy, are cutting back on their exposure to US assets, Bloomberg reported.

Around ten family offices and advisors to ultra-wealthy individuals informed Bloomberg that they are lowering risk exposure or even freezing investments mostly targeting US stocks and US bonds, due to rapid policy shifts, uncertainty, and recession risks.
