"The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025" were unveiled at an awards ceremony in Turin, Italy, on Thursday night. Maido, from Lima, Peru, received the title of "The World’s Best Restaurant 2025". 14 restaurants located in Asia were shortlisted as "The World’s 50 Best Restaurants" for 2025, according to the list. They are located in cities such as Bangkok, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Seoul. Two Hong Kong restaurants were on the list: Wing, ranked 11th, and The Chairman, ranked 19th. Both restaurants leapfrogged in rankings from last year, with Wing ascending from 20th to 11th place, and The Chairman climbing from 26th to 19th place.
