Five leading photovoltaic (PV) listed companies in China collectively laid off 87,000 employees last year, with a total layoff ratio of 31%, Chinese media reported, citing Reuters data. These companies included LONGI GREEN ENERGY (601012.SH), TRINA SOLAR (688599.SH), JINKO SOLAR (688223.SH) (JKS.US), JA SOLAR (002459.SZ), and TONGWEI (600438.SH).
