Following its participation in the first cohort of the Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenA.I.) Sandbox launched by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and the Cyberport, BOC HONG KONG (02388.HK) has been successfully selected for the second cohort, BOC HONG KONG said. The program will build on the success of the first cohort by utilizing the secure sandbox environment and efficient computing resources provided by the HKMA and Cyberport. Over a 6-month proof-of-concept period, the focus will be on deepening the application of GenAI to enhance customer experience and risk management capabilities, advancing Hong Kong's digital transformation and inclusive finance development.
