PBOC: CN M2 Balance at End-Sep Rises 8.4% YoY, vs 8.5% Hike in Mkt Consensus

At the end of September, the broad money supply (M2) balance in China was RMB335.38 trillion, up 8.4% YoY, slightly below market consensus of 8.5%, as announced by the People's Bank of China (PBOC).

The narrow money supply (M1) balance amounted to RMB113.15 trillion, growing 7.2% YoY, beating market consensus of 6.1%.
