STARPLUS LEGEND (06683.HK) opened up 5.03% today (4th) at HKD10.02 and once peaked at HKD10.37 with a surge of 8.7% in early trading. It last traded at HKD9.82, up 2.94%, on a volume of 18.8415 million shares, involving HKD190 million.

STARPLUS LEGEND announced that Star Plus IP, its wholly-owned subsidiary, entered into a sales contract with ADATA Technology yesterday (3rd).

Pursuant to the contract, ADATA, acting as a distributor, will purchase 1,000 units of quadruped robots from Star Plus IP for a total consideration of over RMB20 million.

Yushu Technology will be responsible for the R&D of technology and hardware and production of the product, as well as the development of the related mobile applications. The product is expected to complete testing this year and commence mass production early next year.
