The spokesperson of China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) emphasized again that China hopes the Netherlands will act responsibly from the perspective of maintaining Sino-Dutch and Sino-European economic and trade relations, as well as the stability and security of the production & supply chains, ceasing interference in corporate internal affairs to find constructive solutions for Nexperia's issues, in response to issues related to Nexperia. Meanwhile, China will firmly protect the legitimate rights of enterprises, and strive to stabilize the global semiconductor supply chain. On 30 September, the Dutch government issued an administrative order improperly interfering in Nexperia's internal affairs, followed by a Dutch commercial court's erroneous ruling to deprive Chinese enterprises of their equity, severely infringing on the legitimate rights of Chinese firms. The Dutch government subsequently ignored China's reasonable demands raised multiple times during consultations, and failed to demonstrate a constructive attitude and actions, escalating the global supply chain crisis. Nexperia Netherlands announced the cessation of wafer supply to Nexperia China, causing the latter to be unable to produce normally, and leading to turmoil and chaos in the global semiconductor production and supply chain.
