The HSI opened 152 points or 0.6% higher at 26,112. The HSCEI grew 55 points or 0.6% to 8,765. The HSTECH rose 44 points or 0.9% to 5,104.

The OpenClaw concept was still in effect. TENCENT (00700.HK) opened up 4.4% at HKD578. BIDU-SW (09888.HK) rallied 1.8% amid Chinese reports that it will launch an OpenClaw market today. In contrast, KNOWLEDGE ATLAS (02513.HK) and MINIMAX-WP (00100.HK) slid 3.1% and 3.3%.

Among other tech stocks, BABA-W (09988.HK), KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK), and BILIBILI-W (09626.HK) jumped 1.3-1.5% at open. MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) and JD-SW (09618.HK) added 0.1% and 0.5%. NTES-S (09999.HK) dropped 1.4%.

Chip stocks SMIC (00981.HK) and HUA HONG SEMI (01347.HK) opened inclining 0.5% and 1%. Wire stock YOFC (06869.HK) swelled 2.4%.

In the automotive sector, NIO-SW (09866.HK) opened 15% higher at HKD43.86 after announcing a profit for the last quarter. BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) and LI AUTO-W (02015.HK) inched up 0.3%. XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) remained flat at HKD33.62. LEAPMOTOR (09863.HK) and XPENG-W (09868.HK) gained 0.8% and 1.1%.
